THIS THURSDAY-12:30 room A202Darin Murphy is organizing a giveaway for SMFA students with what's left of the big donation from Kathy Halamka. If any of your students are interested in grabbing some free cameras and/or accessories, please let them know that this will be taking place this Thursday, 9/18, at 12:30PM in room A202. Darin will be manning the door with some student volunteers to help things run smoothly. There are a variety of 35mm SLR and rangefinder cameras, Russian cameras of varying types and formats, and various Polaroid cameras, among other items.
This donation has been a tremendous act of generosity, and both the Library and the Photo Area have benefited greatly from it. If you have a chance, please thank Darin for his hard work in making all of this happen for our community.
